The bulk of my singing career has been spent as a backing vocalist and ensemble performer, singing at venues such as Soho House, The Half Moon Putney, O2 Academy Islington and O2 Academy Kentish Town. I have worked with a variety of artists, spanning across genres, from country pop to DnB and I am currently a part of the female vocal collective, Songbird Sessions. I also work as a function singer at venues in and around London. In 2020, I released my debut single, Feel On Fire, co-written with artist and producer Flat 26.

I have studied vocals from an early age and have experience being trained in The Estill Voice Model to subsidise my Musical Theatre diploma. I also have a degree in Popular Music Performance (Vocals) from BIMM London. Currently, I don’t subscribe to one particular vocal technique; instead, I love researching from a wide variety of sources and mixing and matching different methods into my own practice. During my time at university, I formed a vocal duo, Vocalities, which eventually expanded into a larger group and appeared on BBC1’s series, Pitch Battle.

Recently, I have decided to use everything I’ve learnt about being a singer and vocal student so far to create my own blog. Whilst reading articles and attending workshops to assist my practice, I often found myself feeling intimidated by the breadth of knowledge and skill provided by people already extremely established in the vocal industry. The blog exists alongside these wonderful resources, simply to offer a more relatable perspective for singers starting out and/or at the beginning of their careers.

As well as leading music sessions through Little Hummingbirds, based in South West London, I offer one-to-one vocal lessons for teens and adults (more info here).
